A castle turned into an immersive experience
The complete concept for an immersive experience inside a castle: the narrative, the technology behind it and how it is experienced room by room.

CVNE wanted to open its castle to visitors with more than a guided tour: an immersive experience worthy of the brand, technologically ambitious, without yet knowing what was technically possible, what it would cost or in what order it had to be decided.
We designed the complete experience before building anything: room script, visitor journey, candidate technologies for each moment (projection, mapping, surround sound, sensors and room control), implications for the building and a phased plan with an associated budget.
Scope of work
Concept and script
The narrative of the journey, room by room, with what the visitor sees and feels.
Technical architecture
Which technology supports each scene and how it fits into a historic building.
Room plan
Projection, sound, light, sensors and centralized control on the floor plan.
Phased plan
What gets built first, at what cost and what is left for a second phase.
Inside the project

How we did it
Immersion
A visit to the castle and sessions with management to understand the brand, the narrative and the building's limits.
Technical exploration
Candidate technologies for each scene, with what each one offers and requires.
Concept signed off
Journey, scenes and technical architecture documented and approved.
Roadmap
Phases, budget and pending decisions ordered by risk.
